Very beautiful. Gian Galeazzo Maria Sforza was the 6th Duke of Milan and the 3rd Duke of the Sforza dynasty (June 20, 1469 - October 21, 1494). The regent Ludovico Maria Sforza, known as "Il Moro", was born on July 27, 1452 in Vigevano (between Milan and Pavia) and died on May 27, 1508 in Loches, France. "Arbiter of Italy", according to the expression used by Guichardin, he was duke of Bari from 1479, regent of the duchy of Milan from 1480 to 1494, and finally duke from 1494 to 1500. During his regency the duchy enjoyed a period of external tranquillity, without any conflict, and Ludovico was an active patron of the arts, inviting to the ducal court a number of renowned artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, whom he asked to paint The Last Supper for the Dominican convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie.
