Louis d'or aux lunettes 1727 A = Paris (8.16 g)
Very handsome.
The nickname of this coin "louis aux lunettes" comes from the appearance of the two oval shields of France and Navarre appearing on the reverse in the shape of a lorgnon. This type of reverse was used for the first louis of the reign of Louis XVI.
