*Lapte. Grange-Neuve, in the commune of Lapte, Auvergne. On January 27, 1908, farmer Jean Maisonnial unearthed a broken, reddish-gray earthenware vase containing 200 staters, probably from the time of Vercingetorix, of which 14 are now in the Musée Crozatier in Le Puy-en-Velay and 20 in the Musée de Cluny.
