The Osismes are one of the Gallic peoples of the Armorican Celtic group. The territory of the Osismes roughly corresponds to that of the Finistère department and the western part of the Côtes-d'Armor department. Their main oppidum seems to have been the Artus camp at Huelgoat. After the Roman conquest of Gaul, the capital of their territory was Vorgium, now Carhaix. Other important urban centers were Vorganium (probably Kerillien near Plounéventer) and Le Yaudet near Lannion.
