PARISII Paris region 2nd century B.C. Head on the right, three locks in a hollowed crescent and hair falling in volutes on the nape of the neck. Scroll in front. R/. Dislocated horse on left, with pelleted limbs and mane. Above, star-shaped fishnet. Below, rosette with pearled petals. ♦ DT 79; LT 7782 var. Statère d'or "au flan court". Class II. (7.16 g) Rare. A very fine example.
