PARISII Paris region 2nd century B.C. Head on the right, three locks in a hollowed crescent in front and hair falling in volutes on the nape of the neck. Scroll in front. Vertical lines below the neckline. R/. Dislocated horse on the left, with pelleted limbs, mane and beaded chest. Divine emanation emerges from the mouth. Above, star-shaped net. Below, rosette with pearled petals. ♦ DT 79; LT 7782 var. Statère d'or "au flan court". Class II. (7.19 g) Rare. A very fine example.
