*For the Paris region, possibly Dreux, in imitation of the Parisii. These coins were offered to the cult of Sequana, the goddess of the Seine. One of the main Gallic deities, she was reputed to promote healing.
This was illustrated at the opening of the Olympic Games held in Paris this summer, when the mechanical horse galloped across the Seine.
