LEMOVICES Limoges region Late 2nd century and 1st third of 1st century B.C. Head to right, hair in thick strands. R/. Horse on left. Above, a crane, tail in plume between two centered rings. In front, an S-shaped S-shaped scroll emerging from the mouth. Below, three-lobed finial. ♦ DT 3409 and 10; LT cf 4068 et seq. Reddish gold "crane" statère. (6,84 g) Rare. Oblong blank. A very fine example.
