GUERLAIN PARIS - Large perfume bottle with bees. In 1853, Gu - Lot 348
GUERLAIN PARIS - Large perfume bottle with bees. In 1853, Guerlain's founder designed the Flacon aux Abeilles as a gift to Empress Eugénie de Montijo for her marriage to Napoleon III: its emblematic shape is largely inspired by the top of the Colonne Vendôme and women's basket dresses. It is adorned with 69 bees, the French imperial symbol. The bottle has been made by glassmakers Pochet Du Courval since its creation. Signed on the underside. H : 25 cm Capacity : 1000 ML
