Our auction house, presenting a collection of comics for the first time, wanted to carry out an in-house appraisal, because it is a unique collection and its level of quality justifies it. And an appraisal worthy of the name, enabling passionate collectors to acquire these objects with full knowledge of the facts, while benefiting from a high degree of rigor in the description of condition, which is the crucial point, as we know, for comics.

An "in-house specialist" has carried out this work, and our company undertakes to take back lots if the descriptions are not objectively in line with what is advertised.

We also attach great importance to photographs, to guide buyers in their choice to the best of our ability.

Other photographs can be supplied on request, particularly for Hergé's works, which are not reproduced for copyright reasons. We are also at your disposal for any other lot.

Finally, as an exception for this sale, lots may be shipped by the auction house. Separate payment is required. The cost will be equal to twice the cost price, which remains extremely competitive compared to the shipping costs usually charged by external service providers. The difference will be used to cover the cost of preparing and dispatching the parcels.
