King & Country. The Battle of the Bulge. Christian Blondieau Collection. Following the major Axis counterattack that halted the Allied army's advance towards Germany in the Belgian Ardennes and northern Luxembourg during the winter of 1944-45, this Diorama re-enacts December 22, 1944, with German soldiers encircling Bastogne and delivering a surrender ultimatum to the American general staff and 101st Airborne paratroopers. For the Germans, it consisted of a Jagdpanther armored vehicle and 15 officers or soldiers. For the Americans, a Jeep with 3 Military Policemen accompanied by a dozen GI's with machine gun and Bazooka. 8 original boxes are included, as well as fir trees and vegetation depicted on this Diorama, which will be dismantled and packed. It can be reassembled on any support. Sold by appointment in Paris 15e, to be dismantled and collected on site.
